It's more about clean headroom than volume.
I agree. I use my valveking with a booster to punch the preamp with some power cos I can't crank it in my basement. I can get it up to 4 or 5 mind you ... |

does anyone else think peavey need to ditch the 80's disco logo? i pulled it off my peavey amp as soon as
I agree also. Its too sharp and pointy. They would do well to tone it down. |

I use my amp's 6V6GC overdrive and then I boost that with an Yngwie Malmsteen preamp booster. But I picked the orange amp choice by accident. |

I do, and I wipe the strings down as soon as I'm done playing. My basement has mad high moisture levels(I run a humidifier but still). Also, I am always trying to keep that new string sound. Lately ... |

I change them once a week, sometimes once every two weeks. I play at least 2 hours a night though. More on the weekends when practicing with friends. |
