Kalamazoo is related to Gibson though, yeah? Were they like Gibson's budget brand before they bought Epiphone? |

Jeez I'd be annoyed too if I bought a brand new USA made guitar and saw that kind of wear in a months time. I tried to find a spec for the fret wire they use but to no avail. |

How do those pickups sound? The Wide Range humbucker seems like one of those things that people say is never as good as the original. Though I guess that's most things. |

At least you know if you use an anodized pick guard, it wont matter what color the guitar is. |

Are you using the same kind of strings on all your guitars? Stainless steel strings will chew frets up quicker than nickel ones. |
