Rather fond of this interpretation of the blinding pop hit by Taylor Swift. A consumately musical combination of beat box, barbershop, and African choir:
Not really a comfortable fit in this thread, but this is my favourite choral piece, by miles and miles and miles. I was involved in a choir that performed it once, but we were shit and the conductor basically had to tell us to guess the intervals and the entries because we weren't going to be able to get it right and probably no-one would notice.

slight skewed thing but I'm really looking forward to the new feature in ableton 9 which converts beats to midi and according to reports is very good at estimating what instruments it needs to slot in to the appropriate beats. _________________

That's great Paul. It reminded me of a less scary version of the music that Kubrick used over the stargate sequence in 2001. Looked it up and discovered it's from the same composer!

Instruments I hate the most:
Beatbox
Banjo
I'm sorry if that hurts anyone's feelings. Can't really explain the beatbox hate, its just a physical reaction. Banjo, well, I have a lot of good reasons and a personal history there. _________________ High quality, low popularity Ecstatic Fury

ALso this.
My students will actually go out specifically to see a beatboxer. I am agog at the very idea. Can't think of anything worse (Genghis Minge or whatever they were called excepted).

Mike Patton seems to be integrating more and more beatbox/scratch stylings into his vocals. I know he was hanging out with BB pioneer Rahzel and doing an album together.

Same piece, I think. Kubrick used a lot of Ligeti as far as I know, though. _________________
