Funny you mentioned KC Compstang cuz that's my NGD the other day! Twisted Evil

It gets along great with my Corgan Strat...

That's a really nice looking set of guitars. If you had the Venus, you'd be all set to channel your inner flannel.

One of the made in Korea ones I think, but it looks great to me. I think it will be a lot of fun. I hear they are heavy, which I like, and are pretty true to the originals. Smile

You could go for the Pat Smear sig model instead.

Nice! I like that Billy's guitar is the same as the one he uses at live shows. He said in some interview I watched on youtube that his guitar he uses is just like the ones in the store that anyone can pick up and play

last time i saw em he had an avri neck on it! well, i think it was anyway. it had a small 'stock n the older style logo.

Yeah, his main guitar is an AV '57 neck on one of his sig models now. He says he prefers the feel of vintage style necks/frets, which makes sense as he only played '57 RIs and hardtail '70s Strats before his sig. Basically he's turned it into a mash-up of all his mainstay Strats over the years. Funnily enough that was the one he was discussing when he boasted that his sig is perfect off the rack.
