I always found The Preachers to be painfully self-righteous and they always act as if permanently constipated.

That motorbike song was okay though.

The Manic Street Preachers are GREAT.

The Holy Bible is a masterpiece, the albums either side very good and there's always something to like on whatever record they make. I am a FAN.

+1

Some dude on Denmark Street told me that he hadn't heard Holy Bible riffs played instore for a long time and shook my hand.

He was probably trying to sell me something though. The prick.

I thought they really moved up a level with Everything Must Go. They weren't really the same band as they'd been; they were better. Probably should have changed the name. I find it bizarre that people are so obsessed with the period when they had that nutter who couldn't play guitar in them. It was a bit extreme how they kicked him out but it had to be done.

Laughing

Most 1990's guitar bands took things to cereal.
