It costs a lot to get them built by the custom shop I suppose.

That and profit.

3000 Euros for a Stang? Confused You can go custom built for less..

yeah lets talk about overpriced. you could get a vintage one for less? and white pickup covers on pearl pickguard? if i would buy anything at that price (i wouldnt), everything has to be perfect. can anyone tell me whats so special about these stangs? except they were only one made in each color?

Silly. My all-original '65 had been refinished when I bought it, in correct Dakota Red, just because the original Dakota Red was dinged and scratched. I offered the asking price of $985 and the seller said he'd expected me to counter-offer, so he asked for $895... Very Happy

Gotta admit, my taste is for the aged white pup-covers on the yellowed MOT guard, so I removed the black and replaced em (originals in the case, of course). Plays and sounds great but man that neck's smallish and the fretting gets a bit tight up at the body...I wonder if the RI neck width or spacing is more generous...guess the scale would be the same, though, eh?

Fender MG65/VSP

Also Char signature, this is a Japan Custom shop, costs about the same as the US Custom Shop ones:
