|
|
I moved this month... to a cheaper apartment. Well, cheaper in cost - it's actually bigger than my previous place, includes water/power, and has a much better equipped kitchen and bathroom than my previous place. It's just not as close to the beach (10 minute drive vs. 3 minute drive).
Anyway, so I had to pay last month's rent at the old place, deposit on the new place, and first month at the new place. On top of that my license plate was stolen (which required replacement), I had some unexpected medical bills due to an illness, and I had to buy a suit for a conference work had me attend. This left few monies to decorate the new place.
So, when I unpacked, I noticed I had 4 pickguards, and all had a different color.
And since I had to replace my license plate, that left me with some super strong 3M double sided tape left over.
So... four pickguards, and double sided tape.
Here's the result:

That looks pretty awkward if I'm honest... but if you like it then fair play. I'd prefer a poster if done on the cheap.
Hows about selling the guards to get funds for 'decorations' ? YOUR HOUSE THOUGH.

I like it... partially because it is a little awkward. _________________

You need to nail in a couple of chairs and a table on the wall on the right to match the position of the power outlets. |

I put all my old pickguards between plywood sheets with paper liners so they stay flat.
I'm sure I still have an old Tiesco/Top Twenty pickguard that Shadow traded me, that functions as some sort of talisman. _________________

When are homeland security gonna get on this "2-piece King Size Snickers" horseshit that showed up a couple years ago? I've started dropping one of them on the floor of my car every time. |

It looks ok for me. Also two guitars and combo are everything what I need at the moment. I would be happy, if I were you _________________

probably typical installer laziness.
on my sink the hot and cold are reversed. they're even labelled: on the red side I get cold water, and blue gives hot water. |

you can fix that easy if you want to. Just shut off the water running to the sink, drain out the pipes and switch them. _________________

Nah man that's correct. A blue-hot object is way hotter than something that's only red-hot. _________________

I did something similar! I had an old Tele guard covered in friend-band stickers that I had no use for once I sold the Tele it was on, so I stuck it up on the mantle rather than toss it. I love all those old stickers and bands that no longer exist! |
