Been watching ebay for awhile to get a Commander head, but this one seemed so nice I had to grab it. It even had it's cover and footswitch included. So far I dig it. It is pretty bright really. The reverb is really good as is the tremolo. The gain option seems to be ok for an overdrive, but I don't like it full up. (Too noisey.) I dig the orange stripe. Here are pics!

Brings back some memories. I had one of those in the early 90's.
I couldn't get on with it, it was bright, loud and heavy.
Some years later I ended up with a Commando II head, it was affordable during some tough financial times, but I struggles to get a decent sound from that too. _________________

I thought the same at first, but I had it in the Hi input. In the Low input it sounds great to me.
(High input was pretty shrill and bright.) |

Totally.
By the way I watched the Trickster episode of The Flash last night. I was thinking "man DC made a char that is basically a Joker ripoff?" Then Mark showed up and all was good. Even the cheesy "I am your father" line was awesome. Your avatar made me think of that. |
