|
|
Hi Folks, I've tried a search…..
Can anyone tell me please what woods have been used on the body of the Squier Bronco Basses please, have they all been Agathis?
Ive been offered one on another forum, but I once got stung with a plywood EB-0 bass because I failed to research (the ply EB-0 didn't sound too bad, it was bloody heavy though!, since replaced with a Mahogany one!)
TIA

I have fiddled with three and they were very similar in weight and construction. Solid wood. Refined one, could be agathis for all I know, very unspectacular it was. Bit like CBS poplar without the weird dark parts.
Have not seen a plywood one, some people in interwebs´ forums seem to think "early examples in plywood squier models exist", dont know if thats the case with these ones though. Kinda new and pretty homogenous model for all I´ve seen.
All my examples are ones sold in the early 2010´s in europe though. |
