Just got a beautiful 1959-1960 Harmony Stratotone Jupiter in excellent condition. The hollow body and wood bridge give it a powerful, growly Blues tone. Powerful because...
...and I had to double-check this...The DeArmond Gold Foil pickups measure 10.2 K neck, and a whopping 11.3 K bridge...
It's the best axe for Blues I've played.

Sounds/looks cool. How's the feedback with something like that, and what gauge strings do you use on it?

Hey, Paul, the feedback is easily controllable by adjusting my distance & angle from the front of the amp speaker. I'm using 11s right now and want to experiment with my usual 10s.
The range of tones is great... Are you familiar with Jupiters or guitars with similar design & DeArmonds?
