|
|
Hi Guys ,
I am using a good old Boss Me 5 floorprocessor in my opinion the most natural sounding programmable floor processor ever made
But unfortunately I have problems with the in and output jack . Sometomes there is no sound and when I touch the input or output jack the sound comes back after some buzzing noise
I opened the thing but the female jacks are in some kimnd of plastic housing and are stuck to the printboard I guess
Does anyone here know if this can be fixed by a good technician for a reasonable price ? |

Post pics of the input jacks on the pcb board. Depending upon how they're mounted, it could be pretty simple to do. |

It could just be a case of dodgy solder joints on the jacks. Happened to a Zoom multi-fx pedal I used to use years ago _________________ www.gabrielwareing.com |

Zoom GFX707 in my case Not too hard to sort out. With mine the solder pads the jacks are soldered to had broken from their tracks, and the cracks needed to be bridged by wire. Since I did that it's been no trouble though hardly used anyway. |

Sorry for the bad quality but I still do not use a smartphone and my digital camera does not work
So I used field recorder with a filming option and I made still caps from the footage

Can haz pictures of the other side of the board, where the sockets are soldered? By the way, needs better pics. What did you take that one with? |
