Picked up a Mesa Tremoverb recently...

Fantastic amp, cleans are great gains are great & lovely trem & reverb.... I could gig this without pedals.
Also runs on either EL34's or 6L6's (Came to me with EL34's)
You can pull the tubes if you wish to run it at a lower wattage although the master volume works great from home use, has channel cloning & a lot of other options. Its has a power switch on the rear panel where you can select the power to be either Bold or Spongy which is like a built in variac, spongy lowers the voltages giving a more vintage amp type feel/sound.... according to the manual.

Just need to pick up a Switch Doctor footswitch.

Sounds cool. I've never tried out a Mesa, never see any if their combos round these parts and I'm not into lugging a head and a cab.

This head used to be a combo, they weigh a stupid amount so this one was converted to a head by Zilla cabs.

Niiice. Zilla do good work btw, so I'm sure they did a nice job with the conversion of that.

Mesa have been known to produce occasional gems that get overlooked in favour of their flagship ranges like the Mark series and the dual/triple Rectos, so it's nice to hear about stuff like this. Rectos *in general* never got as much praise for their cleans, so you've lucked out if you've found one that works for you on both channels. Whether you dig the sound of a Mesa or not, their build quality is always rock solid so I bet it'll be a dependable amp for gigging. bravo

I've always loved the look, sounds and features of their stuff but it's so crazy expensive over here it's insane.

I played grant's transatlantic head at the Albq and it was tremendous

Yep, hence id not picked one up before.... Got this for 600 😁
Loving the clean slight break up on this amp, very Fendery to my ears. Master volume is great I can play it in the flat.

600 is a great deal for an amp of that calibre - nicely done!
