So after the amp dying pre gig, I was convinced by my dad to invest in a spare amp to get me out the shit if needed and something I could use at home to practice.

Enter the micro terror, surprising loud for a little 20 watt SS amp. The cab came as part of the deal on Gumtree and surprisingly quite full sounding for a little 1x10.

I got both of those, but I don't use them together anymore because the Micro Terror is too loud as a practice amp, which is why I have that cab.

What's your main amp Rob, still the Dark Terror?

Love these little amps like the Micro Terror. Would like to try a ZT Lunchbox but prices are still a bit silly for them.

I always take a solid state head for backup (HH IC100), on the assumption it'll be the amp that goes in the JTM60 combo. I do have a dodgy Line 6 combo that I've taken to use as a monitor before but it's a 2x10 and as heavy as the JTM60.

Fran: Yes, I've gone back to my original rig of the Dual Terror and James' old 2x10. Kept chasing all these different tones and realised I had it all along. There's some magic in that 2x10 and dual terror.

Nicks: yep learnt the hard way at my last gig about bringing a spare. Need to try it at band practice to see if it'll hold its own or need to mic it up at gigs.

Nice one mate.

I'd like to get a rock covers band going, maybe a bit heavier material than what yours are doing though.

I will do rob, he's a nutter but i love him. we had a massive bust up but we're now getting on again and hopefully past all that shit. basically don't fall for your brother's best friend and cause a big rift between all parties. this was before i met efty of course.

The other new toys are the little brown Octaver pedal. basically three separate octave tones (-1/-2/+1) with individual volumes and a dry mix volume. tracking isn't great for chords but proper nasty sounding. a clone of a pearl octaver.

The white pedal is a Donner White wizard modulation unit. basically a re-badged Nux mod force. has chorus/trem/flanger/phaser/vibrato/univibe and leslie effect that you can tweak and save as a preset. you can also mix two mods together as a preset, so you could have a tremolo and flanger or phaser and leslie etc. loads of routing and true bypass/buffered bypass switch.
