|

Heya,
So while I was at Sam Ash today getting strings for the Squier Hello Kitty, I noticed they had a reissue Silvertone 1478 in Sunburst hanging on the wall.
It was new, but unsold, and really cheap (I've seen them at $500-600 online, and they want $200). I really liked how it played, dug the vibe and sound - only thing I hated was the Bigsby, mostly because I hate stringing them.
Does anyone here have one? At $200, is it worth it? Or should I still avoid. _________________ 10 PRINT "Bite Me!"

I never bought one but I definitely would for $200, think about the other electric guitars $200 gets you nowadays and it certainly seems like a cooler option. If the Bigsby really starts to be annoying you could always get a vibramate spoiler for like $30. _________________

I'd probably feel obligated to buy that for $200. They're pretty cool. A bit heavier and more solid than the wonky originals... Sort of a funny shaped epiphone but like Paul_ said it's a lot of guitar for the money. |
