Hope this is the right forum for this.....Basically I had the idea today that it would be cool to set a second microphone on my combo organ and make it so that I can switch on tremolo, like in crimson and clover. This mic would only be used as an effect mic, so clarity wouldn't really be an issue....my initial thought would be to use a dynamic mic, xlr->1/4" cable into the tremolo channel of my fender twin or magnatone amp. I'm not keen on using digital vocal pedals or making my setup so complicated, and I really don't feel like having to explain myself to an asshole soundguy in a xhardcorex band t-shirt at the venue. I can fool around with this sort of thing at next practice we have, but would a live application in which the amp that the microphone is plugged into is mic'd itself be an issue? |

Need an impedance-matching transformer...
Should work fine. Lot of kit for an effect, though. |

I'd be using the same amp as I do for my guitar/organ, so I wouldn't be bringing much else. |

Horse of a different color then.
Matching transformer, maybe a small boost or EQ, and yr set. |
