Digital, always digital. Until the day that I'm rich that is. People love analog for the "sound", which is mostly tape saturation and what not, but anyways.
Do you want it to be portable or to hook up to your computer? |

If you have a laptop, I'd just get an audio interface for it and some recording software instead... _________________ http://vivadeluxxe.bandcamp.com/ |

I don't know where you live, but if you are here in the states, you can find a cassette 4-track on craigslist for $50 all day long in most cities.
If you are new to recording, I say keep it simple. I love the way 4 track cassette recordings sound for some stuff. If you want to record loud rock or metal, go digial though. If you are a singer / songwriter go cassette. Every heard Nebraska by Springsteen? 4 tracks and hotel rooms. _________________ www.wahwahexitwound.com |
