that's gotta be the prettiest green guitar in the whole world, it looks so glossy mmmm |
You should have seen Mr. Ryu. He kept nervously wiping the darn thing as I was photographng it, simply because fingerprint smudges were having a party all over the thing with every touch. And yeah, it was hard to get a clear shot of the colors when placed vertical due to reflections of the shop at every glossy angle.
Besides, it's not easy being green.

It's done. It feels fantastic. It sounds really amazing. Jazzmaster and Strat now forced to play second fiddle.
Overhead halogen lamps seemed to give the most honest representation of the finish:

oh man! i totally want to eat cuccumbers now!
great looking guitar, i love the bound and dot neck, its perfect for it,
but it feels like the headstock is bare, it needs some sort of decal or mark, or something.
i love everything about it, perfection.
(cept those gretsch knobs~!!!!) _________________ Dwarfcraft Devices |

Three cheers for cucumber cream, indeed. I'll be hooking up the Sony mini-DV cam probably sometime tomorrow for teh janglez. Good times coming.
And yar, I do have a big 50s logo in silver around here somewhere and might put it on later. We'll see, pickguard going first. |

Made it into the Willows product gallery...
The Willows guys happened to have done some proper shots of the thing before it dropped into our hands, so three cheers for detailed shots, namely of the lovely neck. And yeah, unfinished wenge looks fairly retarded on the back of the body, but it was free and does the trick for the moment. As for the bridge pickup, it is a 7.2k Kent Armstrong Strat lipstick that he had mounted to a brass bassplate, but stayed on only until I plugged the thing in, and realized it was far from what I wanted(quite short on the henries!). The replacement is nothing short of exhilarating, something Cindi and I are liking even better than the Custom Shop Nocaster despite its airy & microphonic charm.
