I thought I would share another hobby of mine, photoshoping. I also take a class, and know there is quite a few photoshoppers on this board so why not share my work.
The Chicken-saures rex. I ran out of time doing the texture on this.
Elvis Vedder, this was my final project last tri.
doing some updating to my thread, check page 4.

Tyler, these are good starts. The dinosaur texture looks fine, but I would match the white with the gray or vice versa. Elvis is a funny idea, and well executed. I am sure it was a pain trying to find them both pointing in the same direction. That is the same Elvis album cover that the Clash used to borrow the style for London Calling. Nice going. _________________ Yell Like Hell |

UPDATE:
Finally got around to posting my latest works, I've been doing portraits of two of my heroes, and there another piece I did that is included in a artshow.
Hendrix, on this pic I made the background B&W, made him kind of cartoony and fading to black and white, and made his guitar and jewelry glow.
This is a darker piece color wise of a tiki idol. (artshow piece)
And this screen shot from Nirvana unplugged, identical treatment to the pic of Hendrix up there. |

Not photoshop, but I made these this week, materials include, 3 different sized paint brushes, black ink, water, and various colored paper.
Critique and enjoy please. my scans are huge, and some aren't centered.

this is brilliant
the other photoshops look to be mainly filters and rather boring. pleasing effect, just a bit "lame" for lack of a better word |

that's what everyone does when they start using photoshop though.
it took me three odd years to start using it productively.
anyway, keep up with the artwork. i quite like that first one that looks like roots or something. _________________ http://alligatr.co.uk/ |

I just use photoshop to make people look fat.
and a bit of digital painting :
I like your stuff, the ones without the filters are better. |

It's a WACOM Bamboo.:
Its pretty cool, has 4 buttons and that wheel is for scrolling up/down page. Not too expensive either, around £60. |

ah thats the one i was going to get.
i used to have the basic bamboo one but the pen broke and the resolution was a bit piss. if you draw slowly lines came about a bit... pixely is the best way to describe it. it was really annoying on large documents. _________________ http://alligatr.co.uk/ |

A lot of the more filtered works were just for school projects, but I understand them being "lame", I've been using photoshop for about 2 years. But mainly for more arty looking stuff rather than playing around. But thanks for the compliments and critiques. Also I'm not familiar with using a tablet, looks interesting, might have to try one out. |
