'65 ri all the way.
I owned a '73 ri about year back which i think is a identical to the '69 ri apart from the finish.
The '65 i played just felt like a better guitar. Better neck, better pups, bonartown tuners and i loved the slab body.

Slab body is the only way to go with these.

i've seen vintage sonic blues that look grey and daphnes that look green. fucks wi' ma heid.

Yeah but they mess the colours around, Fender now calls this Sonic Blue:

and this Daphne:

They keep mixing them up, fuck knows why. I prefer the colour of the 69 Mustang personally.

Understood. Then Amy's '65 was Daphne and not Sonic.

Still looks pretty close to me.

Timhulio owns a vintage daphne stang that looks greenish.

Link

A yellow tinted clearcoat would get similar results, right?

i'm sure i posted a size 29 FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU- style thread the day it happened. it'd started off at 800 or something and didn't sell, so the guy dropped the price.

when it comes to features and equipment the 65 wins hands down for me, but i love the contours the 69 has...just like my mysterystang!
