The other weekend I found this badboy on my local CL. $400 with case, strap, paperwork, trem bar, etc. It is the LE '94 MIJ Model.

I used to have the exact same model. Buying this one is like going home. Sorry for the shitty phone pic.

Yeah it is. I pretty much paid $100 less than I did in '96 when I bought my first one "new."

The JM version is really pretty great too. Don't have it, just sayin'.

Hell of a deal. I love the blonde body, and the gold is not as offensive as a lot of gold hardware.

As has been said, that is an excellent find! Gold Hardware can sometimes look dreadful but I'm a fan when it's done well, as it is here.

One of the best deals I've ever seen for a Jag.

insane deal! i'd swap out the gold, but even at that you'd be under what these usually go for.

well, maybe i'd keep the gold. i'd have to see it in person or sharper pics to get a better idea.

I quite like the gold on this model. If you tire of it though I've removed the gold from a TOM and tuners using a jewelers cloth (I think it's treated with a gentle abrasive) and it left the TOM looking convincingly chrome.

Smashing bargain mate!

Re: Gold

I have never ever ever liked gold on guitars. Still don't. When I originally purchased this same LE model guitar in '96 I didn't like gold. However, for whatever reason this guitar has somehow pulled off the gold hardware with out being overly gaudy. In any event I can't complain because of the deal.

I was lucky enough to have caught it on CL pretty early after it posted, met the dude 2 hours later cash-in-hand, done deal. It needs a set up and a Mastery (Hi, Woody!) and we will be in hog heaven.

I have no idea what it is aside from a happy galloping worm horse. Found it in a gif bin site. I call him "Knuckles."

it was made by this guy: http://www.derekyu.com/

he makes video games and draws comics. I've been a fan of his for a while, I remember when he had it on his site.

$400? Oooohh! What a deal. Except for the gold hardware, it looks just like '90 MIJ reissue Jag I had 20 years ago! Congrats!
