Perfect first guitar. Or any. I would obscure your address in that first picture. Photos turn up in searches on Google.

Also, thanks every one for the great comments! I really feel like this is the best guitar for me as the neck feels right and it's the perfect size for a small person like me. Also, it looks fucking gorgeous so I am super happy :)

That's the thing about Mustangs, they're almost as good to look at as they are to play.

And if you have a smaller frame they look great.

White and tort mustang is a dream guitar of mine, ever since I saw teh Kurdtz with what turned out to not actually be a white one on the cover of Wishkah like 14 years ago.

Other side of that coin...... While working on the PF song, I was using my daughters P-Bass to figure out the rythym parts. The I started recording for reals and switched to the Prison-Stang. First though was, "I must look ridicuous."

On that same note I can't play any Gibson/Epi semis, certainly not sitting down. Can just barely pull off a fullscale Fender bass if I strap it on low and do my DeeDee pose, but the things are literally 3/4 my height from the bottom edge to the headstock tip so it still has that sort of hangglider vibe.

I find SGs to look pretty good on smaller people. Angus Young is 5'2".

My first guitar was a harmony shitbox that put me off playing for years... So basically I hate you. Wink

That's an awesome 'stang. The fact it's a first guitar makes it even better.
G the funk out of that thing.......

NO HAET! I was just very lucky to tell the truth... [corny]I don't think I would have ever gotten a Mustang if it hadn't been for Shortscale![/corny]

Yea... I look pretty damn ridiculous with laterallateral's P bass... It's almost my height! Bigger instruments are hard for short people like me to handle; not only are they a whole lot heavier, but they also make you feel shitty when you have a hard time reaching a fret because your arms are too friggin short.
