Hi, new here I'd have a go on the general body shape.

Awesome noob of the week. That looks way better than what I half-assed.

Not to shit on your parade, but you are aware that Jag, Strat, and Duo Sonic pickups are essentially all the same? The only difference between them being that Jaguar pickups have a metal claw, Strat pickups have a little triangular base, and Duo Sonic pickups are Mustang pickups are Strat pickups with flat poles. Especially with a 25.5 scale, you're just going to end up with a wonky looking Stratocaster.

I think you are better off with a matched set of pickups from GFS. They cost less and sound just as good. They even have Jazzmaster and lipstick pickups, if you want something different.

Why do people keep putting Fender on their home built, non-Fender guitars? I don't get it.
It looks better and more authentic. That bare headstock just looks weird.

Then make your own decal, don't put Fender on it.
Thanks for the tip. I decided I'm gonna make it with h/s/s gfs lipsticks. And the main reason I'm doing the fender logo is because I want this guitar to look like some kind of weird fender prototype that was lost with time.

Like others have said. Go ahead it is your project and I think the body shape is evolving quite nicely. I was mostly curious as to why people are doing it to their own creations. I got my answer and thank you for the answer. You are going to have fun putting it together and there are a lot of smart and creative people on this site that I am sure will be glad to help with any issues you may have.

What colour should I do it in? I was thinking either LPB or seafoam green.
