Will a Vista Series neck fit on the current production model?

Both are 24-inch scale, but apparently the modern one is a 'conversion' or something.

How many frets?
22 on and old school 24incher and Vista
21, with the 21st unusually close to the end, is a 'conversion neck'.
21, with a strat-like last-fret-to-heel-spacing is a normal 25.5 incher.

No. I made this mistake once. I had a Vista neck and tried to fit it on a current Jagmaster.

Current Jagmasters are 25.5" scale that use a conversion neck to get to 24" scale.

That is what happened to me. I wasn't aware and had an awesome neck on a guitar that would never intonate.
