Neat. You don't see comp stripes on sunbursts. Actually looks pretty cool. See how they shaped the Pickguard from the control plate to the bridge? Must be to be a bit different from a fender. Lol.

24.5" scale (?) I wonder if it really is.

No doubt facilitated by the Squier VMs, the pickguard is the most different-looking bit. I imagine this is a similar deal to the Saien/Samick Turser/Harley Benton conundrum.

Funny how they used the Jazz Bass tone knob that's smaller than the volume, but I kinda like it.

I love it, especially if it really is 24.5" scale as that's one of my favorites. If they ever sell these stateside I'd probably pick one up.

It sounds great, until I get to this bit:

That's a bit of a deal-breaker for me - I'd want the guitar to turn up and be undamaged when it arrives. My previous dealings with Arselfarce have been universally atrocious, so I wonder if they would ship using other couriers if asked.

I've had this on my ebay watch list for months, but haven't bought one for a few reasons.
Aesthetically, the stripes don't work with the sunburst.
And I'm a little nervous of buying a cheap unknown brand guitar, though I guess worse case scenario would be that it would need a little fret work and/or a pickup swap.

Hodson have been around a while now, they were making Jazzmaster type knock-offs several years ago.
Saw this Mustang recently and thought if these were around 10 years ago we'd have been jumping on them. But since all the Squier stuff came along these kind of guitars dont have the same appeal.
