Thanks. Now that the polar vortex has finally receded I've been working on getting the bodies ready for paint. _________________ Smells like Rock n' Roll |

I have so thoroughly enjoyed using the term "polar vortex" this past winter. Its like a weird disease. Or something caused by a bond villain.
Great work as always, cooter. Always a pleasure to see your work. |

Thanks guys. The '59 Desert Tan body is painted but I still need to paint the '62.
I gave up on a maroonburst after three failed tries. It'll be a solid color of some sort. _________________ Smells like Rock n' Roll |

Okay, I finally got around to sanding and buffing out the '59 Duo.
My least favorite stage of guitar building. Anyway, here's how it turned out.
This was how the body looked when I got it. The green looks cool in the picture but it was shit IRL.
'59 and '62 pickguards wired up.
1959 neck and bridge. Custom Bullock vintage correct pickups, 1960 Fender duosonic body, single ply aged white pickguard,
solid shaft 250k cts pots, FenderBob decal, original kluson tuners, repro stamped neck plate, Reranch desert tan ‘59 lacquer,
all topped off with a set of 13's.
Even more pics.

Damn, you put that together fast. Now play the shit out of it.
Hated to see it go but I really didn't need two duo's. _________________ Smells like Rock n' Roll |

The bridge ground was easy and worked great by the way. _________________ Congratulations! Your Punkacc9 evolved into Awstin.
