got a Tele a couple years ago. turned it into an esquire, failed. wired it back up as a Tele. fucking love it.

seriously can't believe what I've been doing without this guitar for so long. miss having that neck pickup.
been using it more than my jag and jazz lately. definitely the best neck out of all my guitars.

Neck and bridge together is a wonderful thing. Add the 4 way switch and s1 and you can sound like Brian May!

Telecasters are a secret love of mine. I have five at the moment. They are simple and no nonsense. Their switches are my favorite too. Super sturdy feel.

When you plan on quitting, spend the final few weeks drawing accurate MS Paint penises. Allow coworkers to see you. When they question what it is you are committing to, show them the folder you've compiled of this veiny art.

Don't flinch.

Follow your heart.

welp, since I have tenure, i will probably ride this joint til the wheels fall off-- I don't think I could quit such a mediocre yet easy job in good conscience
