I'd like to increase my knowledge about composing. I've got a good grasp of music theory & reading music but want to explore further. I bought a work book with exercises By Russo which is great for practice but I also like to fill in some knowledge.
So anyone got any recommendations either books or online? I'm interested in some modern & minimalist stuff but anything at the moment would be great _________________

Schoenberg's Fundamentals of Musical Composition can normally be found online. I've off to bed now but if you haven't a copy by tomorrow night I'll email you one.
Funny, I'm preparing to put together a lesson on composition for some Year 10 pupils next week and we'll be starting with minimalism on account of if being a fairly easy way of demonstrating compositional devices.
