Can you explain me something about fender japan? Why does they build so cool guitars which are not availlable outside of japan? Is fender japan a own company or does it belong to fender usa? Is there a way to get japan-instruments in europe?

I believe Fender Japan is owned by fender, but a separate division. And makes awesome variants and colour options.

The best way to get access to the full range of awesomeness is to use a company like Ishibashi http://www.ishibashi.co.jp/u_box/e/eubox.php?word=2&key=Fender&print=40&T=gazo&caria=&p=0
That link is for the U-Box which is second hand instruments. Prices are keen, and as the Yen is in a pretty poor state (after the tsunami/earthquake and global misery fest) so you can get pretty good deals. Even with the cost of shipping and import taxes.

Apparently they are good to deal with through email, but I have never purchased one direct personally.

definitely a division of FMIC, but still kinda their own thing, which is why they got all those exclusive colors. also there's a big demand for shortscales in pretty colors over there which keeps em getting churned out like crazy.

but definitely check out ishibashi for sure if you want one imported, or keep your eyes peeled on ebay and reverb for a secondhand one. gumtree if you're over in europe, see dudes on here get great deals on CIJ/MIJ fenders once in a while
