Even though I tend to be a no pedals player these days, i'm still a sucker for a leslie effect.
I've seen the nux roctary pedal, which is leslie and octave in one box. It sounds fucking mint on the abovd video, but are the nux pedals worth it? _________________ Fingers or Pick?

I've got money on it being the same as every other Chinese 'clone' pedal, in a slightly different case.
I know Gabriel uses a modulation/verb Nux pedal and plays a LOT (being in a jazz conservatory), I'm sure he could advise.
Fixed yr video too mate
Yeah, probably mooer etc clones. It just sounds cock on in the vid, but that might be down to the player/gear used. More control than my neo mini vent had on it.
Thanks for fixing that link, what did i do wrong? _________________ Fingers or Pick?

I've got a Modcore. It's a great pedal for what it does. The build quality is also pretty impressive considering the price point. I've been using the pedal for the past couple of years without any issues.
Also the Rotary model on the modcore is pretty awesome so I imagine the rotary pedal will be cool. _________________ www.gabrielwareing.com
Seconded. The Modcore doesn't feel all that solid, especially with the plastic control knob shafts, but it's held up well in my home studio over the last year or two as well. It really is amazing for the price. Sure, you could get a Strymon Mobius that does everything the Modcore can do and do it better (with tap tempo and MIDI functionality too), but you'd be paying literally ten times as much. It's up there with the best of the Mooer and Behringer stuff in terms of "usable noises for very little cash" I think.
The rotary setting is one of my fave settings on that thing actually. The tremolo and the univibe modes are disappointing but the chorus, phase and flange aren't too bad either.

I really like something that has variable ramp up and down in speed (which is why I have a Behringer RM600 and a Line 6 Tonecore Rotomachine), and the Nux demo mentions in the text that it has "adjustable rising time" but I don't see the adjustment.

might have to try the modcore out, think i've seen them online at about £22 quid. it'd be the Leslie effect i'd be after the most, but the other effects on that might be useful for the odd cover. _________________ Fingers or Pick?

What's the difference between the regular and deluxe Modcore? Love the sound of the Roctary btw - £71 though, and don't think I'd need the octave function.

Thanks for the video link, will have a listen when i get home. Phone speakers aren't gonna do it justice lol.
George, i'm not sure what the difference is between the deluxe and standard. From what i can tell online, i think its something to do with the DSP sound profiles are tweaked to improve the quality of the effect models.
If the rotary sounds are fine, i'll try a modcore _________________ Fingers or Pick?
Regarding the Modcore, it's odd because there's a Deluxe model which is nearly twice the price, but both versions have a switch for normal/tonelock/deluxe. No idea what's up with that but the "normal" mode sounds best anyway.
