I just bet you it's a bit shit; EHX are masters at fouling up their own heritage.

I dunno, but the first time they went out of business, they did because they made a ton of weird random pedals no one wanted.

They still make that too, but this one looks more like a solid seller.

This thread made me chuckle.

Yeah, I'll be pleasantly surprised if it sounds anything like the original circuit, but it may still be a cool thing on its own merits (the current Little Big Muff is like that).

Isn't the Bass BMP based on one of the Russian circuits anyway, with a blend knob built in? This is sort of redundant in that case.

Naw they always have excellent pedals, including muffs. When the green muff came out some were bitching it didn't sound like the one from the 70's(even though the 70's models went through various changes). Then when they had the black sovtek people were bitching it didn't sound like the green one. Now people are collecting both on eBay.

Will it have a wooden box, though?

Not the best audio quality demo but it sounds fuzzy and sustains like umm, a Big Muff.

Laughing

Here's another demo with a Tele.

Think will take the plunge on one. Tried a Russian Pickle last week, was fucking cool but also very pricey.

The Tone Wicker one is also real cool.

Funnily enough I've been playing with my Tone Wicker this evening. Just that into my amp. Been a while since I've had it out but it sounds lush. Jag rhythm circuit ftw.

I'm just going to smash it in with a hammer and hope it works. Tone is all in the fingers anyway.
