Newbie here. I looked for an applicable thread, but couldn't find one. I apologize if there's already a thread with this subject.
Anybody know of a good hard shell case that will fit a Durango Iron Horse? The body is a bit smaller than most Tele's so the cases I've tried are a bit too big....just enough for the guitar to bounce around in. _________________ Cowboys love smoky old pool rooms and clear mountain mornings.......Little warm puppies and children and girls of the night |

Welcome! I must admit I've gone the DIY route and added foam plastic cut to shape to cushion my non-standard-shape (MP Marauder) Fender. Not very elegant, but functional. |

Looks like a regular tele body shape. Is it smaller or thinner perhaps? _________________

Only now realised you were talking about the problem. So my point was guitar looks like a standard sized tele, why would it wobble inside a standard tele case? _________________

Hey, I hear ya. The body can be narrower or thinner. Depending on that you look for a solution. If it's thinner than the regualr 45 mm thickness you look for an SG style case. If it is narrower than a usual tele body then you try a different option. From what I've seen from the pictures the guitar width wise is your generic tele, that's why I asked my question. I appreciate "that's obvious dumbface" attitude though _________________
