I was really tempted by one of these when I got my SG Classic; only the slim neck cooled my ardour. Enjoy. |

It says a C-shape neck in description. They stopped making normal necks at about that time. All the current line except for two or three models now have Slimtaper necks. Maybe it was only limited run models that had full necks _________________

Nice.
Years back I had the DC model with mini block inlays. Great sounding guitars. _________________

Neck doesn't feel especially slim to me nor big but I've not owned a Gibson before & my other guitars are Fender Shortscales so maybe its slim for a Gibson? |

Yours is probably a standard neck which is basically a full C, Gibson used to call it 58 rounded or maybe it is a modern C (59 if I'm not mistaken). Modern thin Slim Taper is a thin and wide D profile neck - you put your thumb over the sixth string and feel rather distinct shoulders of the profile while there is nothing touching the center of your palm _________________
