When are homeland security gonna get on this "2-piece King Size Snickers" horseshit that showed up a couple years ago? I've started dropping one of them on the floor of my car every time. |

I left the tone knob where i like it at around 11:00,
start off clean
distortion: minimum, about 11:00, 1:00, maxed, and then a gain knob sweep _________________

Same. I'd like to try a MIJ one if I had the chance. |

The early MIT ones apparently sound the same as the MIJ ones. Anything up to about 1993/1994 IIRC before they changed the opamp. _________________

I'm just going to smash it in with a hammer and hope it works. Tone is all in the fingers anyway. |

I don't hate it as I've never tried one properly. I was always an SD-1 user in my early pedal days. _________________ Fingers or Pick?

Oh hell yes, the battery in it is finally starting to die and it sounds amazing. I almost forgot how good is sounds with a little voltage starve. Right now it's mostly noticeable with the gain maxed out, but I'm gonna keep playing until it starts to sound especially different. I'll also record a sample of the max gain sound with and without a power supply first. But overall, now I'm really curious about adding a voltage starve control, built in. _________________

You can make/buy little inline voltage sag controls, probably better than adding it to just one pedal.
And means you can stop using batteries 🌳 🌍 🙏 _________________ musics |

oh fuck, you're right, I could put together a little volt starve box for cheap. (and the battery just happened to be already in the pedal when i got it lol dude totally did not check for that first before sending) _________________
