Boss finally paying attention to EHX, Meris, EQD; sounds pretty good but a more preset and sanitised version of what those guys are doing.
The fact it has the freeze function gives it an immediate built-in flexibility that the others generally don't, aside from the EHX Freeze/SuperEgo variants. _________________ andrew floss musics

Boss and EHX are the all time best pedals. _________________

When are homeland security gonna get on this "2-piece King Size Snickers" horseshit that showed up a couple years ago? I've started dropping one of them on the floor of my car every time.
I like the look and sounds of the synth compact A LOT but what Nick has said (dont know what it'd be used for except messing about at home) stuck out to me, because I just keep falling for that one.
SO many times I've seen such a comment about some sound like a keyboard instrument pedal and thought "anything you want; it'll change my life/the world, man" then I buy one and get tired of it in a few months or leave it off the next iteration of pedalboard. It generally ends up in the pile of pedals on top of my little practice amp that I use to see what they all sound like with sexy R&B chords after I learn some new ones. _________________

i feel that way about a lot of guitar synth pedals, if there's not basically a whole synth control panel then i basically don't want it _________________

Yeah, I kinda feel the same; I nearby bought a EHX Mel9 so many times, but kept coming back to the fact that you'd be locked down to those few choices; you couldn't even change the octave.
So, I got me a midi interface and my guitar can be anything.

wait fuck what is said you can play a million of these through the send and return loops hell yeah actually my whole board is just gonna be 20 of these
but also i would still rather just buy a full synth _________________

That MD200 looks awesome. But what about a hi-band flange option?
I have recently been missing my Boss RV-6. I now have a Neunaber Wet and a Blue Sky (yes, I spoil myself, I'm worth it, etc). But there was just something about the RV-6. Magic tones when combined with certain cheapies like the Digiverb and the Cool Cat Chorus.
