Seems odd they'd have different fingerboard specs?
Poor quality Google translate of some of the blurb:
Quote: |
Fender Made In Japan Swinger
In 1969 it is only slightly produced in USA factory, is now Swinger, which has been a collector's item, played a revival of the miracle in the MADE IN JAPAN line. Welcomed Mr. Yoshio Nomura supervision, analysis of the 69 years made the actual machine of the person owned, was revived in modern while also adding new elements.
Innovative body shape of the design, Swinger Bridge is intact, employs a 610 mm short scale neck of 22 fret specification. A single-coil pickup equipped with 2 groups, has become a specification that can respond to a wider range of music. The color variations 5 colors by Nomura Mr. select. Like the original, "Swinger" logo on the head stock comes as stickers instead of printing.
MADE IN will be the first in JAPAN Swinger, a combination that no one expected to be realized. It is a new product of all of the guitar fan attention. |

Fender Japan LANK
You'll probably have to set your region to Japan or it'll default back to your home country. _________________

I think it's good that fender are bringing back older interesting designs, but I don't know why this one. These were shite the first time round, no? _________________

Would prefer equivalent DuoSonic but I guess they're relying on hype and novelty at this point. _________________ andrew floss musics |

I think they’re cool as fuck. And a great choice for a zany reissue. If they’d been squiers, I’d be ordering one now. Hopefully they’ll go on super discount. _________________ www.lowrisemusic.com

They’re an oddball thing, and I echo the sentiment of wishing they were squiers. Having to order it from Fender Japan and shipped to the east coast is a dealbreaker I think. _________________

If they’re gonna bring back any of those crazy designs I’d rather have the Performer. Those wonky pickups look cool as hell _________________

They're cool looking, but I expect them to be super light toyish things. There's already the Squier Mustang HH and the Fender Duo-Sonics for that type of thing. _________________

The original is super light and toyish. But it's also 22.5" scale and these are 24". The question is; are they scaled up or is the body the original size? |

Why do some have a switch and some do not have a switch.
How soon can I order this fucking bridge instead of building my own |
