Although not quite as cool as the Fender Cyclone II they're harking back to, I like the look of those new Cyclones. If I hadn't picked up that Marauder a few months back, I'd be scoping-out one of the pink ones.
If guitar shops ever open again, I'll go and try one out and go from there. _________________ andrew floss musics
The only thing I'm swapping is the pickguard. I cant get with pisspearl. White pearl is one thing but pisspearl is a whole different situation. Looks like someone poured Grolsch all over it.
Got a little into the live stream at work. Hopefully he posts the podcast so I can listen to my new guitar on the drive home.
Also fuck this guy for getting it 2 days after he ordered it and mine is on back order. _________________

Think I’ll wait until I can play one first. Not blown away by the 60 Cycle Hum vid- looks like it’ll need a setup and maybe better pickups at least. The CV Starcaster he featured for just $50 more seems a much better deal.
Odd he thought the strings felt heavy, the spec sheets I’ve seen say .009-.042

Yeah, I'm not a fan of these on the Cyclones either; will get a white one custom made if I ever get one of them pinkies.

They don't post demo audio on the podcasts, btw. But hint: it sounds exactly like an electric guitar with dual hamburgulars.

I thought maybe Fender were sending out "preview units" to those in the marketing foodchain, no different to any other industry, but Ryan did say he did buy it direct from Fender in the chat. Given that they've brought the release forward from the original plan, I guess production is behind schedule.

I guess it's possible they did a non-stock setup for an influencer? Although, by the sounds of it, didn't do a great job if so! _________________ andrew floss musics

Quick ünd dirty photoshop shows this to be the right approach:
The fender cyclone II with the jaguar pickups that Sloan has, has aged SO WELL. All the white parts are yellowed on it, they have all greened up a bit too. _________________

The HB in the 60 cycle hum sounded just like the JB in my KC stang. I thought it was wired wrong, guess not. Sounded ass. _________________ www.lowrisemusic.com

I actually quite like the Mustang pickguard with the Strat bridge though, like that Offset Series one. S'clean.

Also a bit like the the cursed Jag-Stang humbucker, although not as dull. _________________ andrew floss musics
