Just ordered this
due to arrive just before my 50th birthday
thinking I need to switch the guard, pickup covers and knobs as they look to clean. _________________

Heel looks wrong for a Tele neck. Just a strat neck with a tele headstock I think. |

so the guard, knobs, etc look to white so question for you all. Mint or anodised pickguard? Aged knobs, pickup covers, etc or just keep it white? _________________

Well done Chris, I bet the neck plays like silk.
I think I’d go mint guard and I get what you are saying about the other parts looking too clean. Might look different again when you get hold of it though. |

I'm a sucker for mint guards (I've got them on 4 out of 6 guitars), so I would go with that. And I think if you were to do that, the contrast against the white looks really good. I tried out some aged white knobs on my Strat the other day and I much prefer the white of the pickups in comparison:

the mint guard looks great on that Thom. I'm very partial to the mint guards as well but wondered about a change. _________________
