Good demo of how an amp, and what you're playing really influences the sound of a VI.
Likewise, I run through my bass amp or guitar amp depending on the role I'm using the VI in. For a while I was b ...

I have amps with built in tanks (Twin Reverb, AC30), so my own buying has been coloured by that fact, and a love of weirder reverb sounds. Currently I'm running a Walrus Slö, along with a little bui ...

I'd been looking at the Fender Fullerton Ukes (there are strat and tele versions too) before buying a uke recently but ultimately decided against it because they cost $200. It's a ukelele.
$200 isn't ...

I still want to slap whoever decided on these models having JM pickups in the bridge, though.
Even worse, it's a stacked bucker that looks like a JM.

Got a strong “I don’t know” feeling on it... it’s like a Deluxe P-Bass mashed together with an 80s Ric 400x. I want to like it, but I think I don’t - worst of both worlds deal.

Ball rub or no, 7.25" radius and that lovely blue make the Chrissie Hynde Tele pretty nice.

That’s cool. The strats of the same scale length get a pretty good rep. I think a set of 11s, and you’re off to the races.
Set of 11s on my daughter's Squier Mini, plays great.

Thanks for the heads up, I bought a few entries.
Yeah, thanks. I snagged some entries on this and Robert Smith's UltraCure.
If I managed to win this, perhaps I'll try to sell it on to get one wit ...

I haven't had issues with most gauges downtuned a step or so on long scale basses. Light in Eb should be fine, even on short scale.

I primarily use DR Black Beauties, in part for aesthetic, in part for sound and longevity.

D'Addario strings are decent, and, as Kim said, Fender are pretty good for price if you want to spend a li ...

What's with the JGS-86 hate? It's an awesome guitar: a short scale offset, with a matching headstock, MIJ quality, an amazing neck, and no stu ...

I'd like to find a case for a Mustang. I'd assumed that a Jaguar case would work because of the scale. But all the Jag cases I'm seeing are also listed as fitting a Jazzmaster, so that doesn't make an ...
