Black was a good choice! I managed to get a vintage one the other day. Still haven't tried out one of the reissues to see how they compare.

Fuckin annoying to know that whoever bought it will do nothing with it but put it up on a Wall. At the most.

I think as a piece of rock history it's better off in a case or on a wall.

I paid 200 for my Venus around a year ago. Well worth it. It has best neck of any of my guitars. If that was the 12-string version for 400 I'd be all over it.
