Im not saying rosewood looks bad. I've just always had a thing for maple. It's one of those lifelong things. My first real exposure to a guitar was at about 8 or 9 years old. A friend of my dad always had a CAR strat with a maple neck sitting in a corner of their living room. Love at first sight.

Nope. Still prefer maple. I would steal your tuners for that strat though.

They only come in rosewood though. Pastel colours look so much better with maple.

I guess Dick just stuck with what he knew. He was performing before people like James Burton started putting banjo strings on their guitars and gave rise to light gauge strings. I was watching an interview with Hank Marvin a while back and he was talking about the days where only super heavy strings...

Just as a question of aesthetics I quite like the very pale maple that fender has been using lately.

Even if they messed with the colour too much I think that's still going to be nasty in person.

If it was a Kanye West signature strat you'd only be able to play other people's tunes on it and even then they'd all sound the same.

Well of course it isn't in the same class as a shortscale demo but it still kicks the shit out of Gearwire.

Actually I could give my grandma a trombone, a blindfold and a pair of boxing gloves and it would still kick the shit out of Gearwire

I've seen a bunch of their stuff on youtube and while the guy does generally know what he's talking about he does tend to explain everything like he's talking to a retarded eight year old who's never seen a guitar before, going over the basics again and again very, very slowly. Still, it kicks the s...

Sweet mother of god that thing is gorgeous. I'm on a bit of a white guitar kick lately and that's pretty much everything a white guitar should be. Thats much nicer red tort than most I've seen lately. You're right about the covers too.

It should be "It doesn't feel wrong" Fucking ungrammatical bands. But seriously, nice demo. I'm liking that both pickups in phase sound a lot. Front on its own sounds maybe a little woolly to me. Could just be youtube fucking with the sound I suppose.
