Thanks for the comments..
Yes they are camo covers. I'll be looking into replacing the chrome for old gold or similar at some time.
Thanks Jedadiah for pointing me in that direction.

MXR Super Comp

Hi all, I'm going to buy a compression pedal. The MXR Super Comp seems to have a good reputation and it's within my price bracket. The only thing I have a doubt about it is that a lot of reviews say it's great for Telecasters. I have a Classic player special HH. So I was wondering if any one has an ...

In my humble opinion the CP hh jag when in single coil mode, doesn't sound like a strat. It's got a sound of its own. At www.rondomusic.com they sometimes sell 24" scale smaller bodied strat clones. They have a neck which tapers down to a one and a half inch nut. This could be a bit small. I ha...

Hi dynac0mp I'm no expert and I have a vox vt amp, not an all valve tone monster. Today I went to the guitar shop to compare the fender blacktop jag and blacktop strat. The jag had an alder body, maple neck with rosewood board. It was fitted with 9-42 strings. The strat also had an alder body, maple ...

Jaguar Special HH MIJ vs CP Jaguar HH MIM

Hi Secretsister, I was in two minds also. Though my other choise was the blacktop jag which have alnico pups fitted, as opposed to the jag special hh which have ceramics. I chose the later because of the features on it but I much prefered the sound of the blacktop. I bought a bareknuckle crawler nec...

SX Short scale

Hi all, I've been reading the posts for a while now and I've found some very interesting articalls. So thanks to all. I own some short scale Sx guitars. It's the only neck length and width that suits me. Two are strat style and the other is a Tele style. One of the strat style is going to have a cou...
