I mostly use 'economy picking', up or down depending what's easiest or easiest. A total cop out- I usually flail around arpeggios like my fingers are made of jelly.

..though interestingly JB screws are specified as being 1.5" long vs. 1" for JM
Interesting... I used these ones with no problem on my jazzmaster. Bit pricey though

I quite like my tc hof mini. The standard spring setting is very good and I find myself leaving it on almost all the time. The toneprint is fantastic and the presets are so good I've never found the need to use the editor software. Switch is good and it's tiny, I reccomend.

The bloke that is setting up my tele has a bc rich gunslinger for sale. A yellow beast with a floyd and a single humbucker. Tempted to splash out and get my modest mouse on.

I've just snagged myself a U2 pro reissue off eBay. Never played one before but I've wanted one for years after seeing Jason Molina use them live. Only £100 with a hard case. I'll report back on how shitty and useless they are.

Blimey that's cheap. I'm not a fan of white pick guards, wonder if a black pick guard would suit my sonic blue jazzmaster? £6 is nothing to find out.

the only way i'd do a esquire is with an splittable humbucker in the bridge Yep that sounds pretty good. I've had loads of different pickups in this one: neck singles, hum buckers, p90s but the single hum bucker sounds amazing. Switch goes from series, split and parallel wiring, all three pretty us...

The American specials are amazing for the money, especially if you can score one secondhand. I still miss my 62 reissue scumburst with rosewood board. AFAIK it's still with someone on here tho so that's cool. Yep still with me. Well on long term loan to a friend. Awesome guitar though, so light and...

Is this the guy that buys cheap bodies and necks off eBay then covers them in buckets of wank before selling them on for huge profit? He's always a bit vague about where bodies come from.

i'd just be cautious about the radius mismatch with a mustang bridge being 7.25" and the jag neck being 9.5" I'm fairly cack handed but even I noticed the radius not matching with a Mustang bridge on my VM Jazzmaster. Got pretty irritating and I couldn't settle on an action I liked. One S...

I had one on my SG for a while. Wobbled like it should, I ditched it due to the screw holding the arm in place kept working loose and the arm started drooping. Nothing worse than a floppy arm. Is that a similar experience with real Bigsby's, do you know? I had a 'proper' one on a Gretsch that didn'...

Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots is a very cool album to listen to 'properly'. Very dense and well produced.
