Re: New Behringer synths

The original is super rare too. There’s a full on version of this coming too. You can see it before it shrinks to the Pro VS Mini in the official video. In others Behringer news I got the Pro 800 a few weeks ago. Crazy amount of synth for the money. Of the Behringer synths it’s only second to the De...

Re: NGD Tomson Mustang copy

Super cool little guitar. That bridge is bonkers. I wonder if a Gretsch one would work as an alternative (that you could set the intonation on).

Re: pictures of your shortscales

That's quite impressive collection. I tried one of those semi hollow Jaguars and was curious what other people's experiences were. This one isn’t stock. It’s got a set of Creamery Alt’88s. A definite improvement from the stock Japanese pickups of the time. I could imagine people missing the contour...

Re: New Behringer synths

Their take on the Oberheim DMX: Behringer BMX.jpg This looks amazing!!! I can wholeheartedly recommend the PolyD. Mine was preowned and about £350 I think the really big cuts are on the modular synths (System 55 / 35 / 15). Makes sense since most of the value there is on the components. I’d like to...

If anyone is interested there's a list in this: Gibson ES-335, Gibson ES-135 Gibson LP Special, Gibson, SG STD (2005), Gibson SG 60's Tribute(refin), Gibson SG Special, Fender...

Re: NGD: Squier CV Jaguar FSR

I know all the US and Mexican stuff (and most of the Japanese) come with an angled neck pocket these days so maybe worth checking. The US stuff seems to me i one degree minimum, so if anything maybe too much angle from the factory. I'm not sure about the Squier stuff as it's been a while since I had...

Re: Project: Player Jaguar in mahogany

I think that’s still a really good price for those options. The reason I’m wondering is I have a a Vintera Jaguar coming and if I don’t like the PF fretboard I’ll most likely opt for a Musikraft replacement and just sell the Fender one. Did you get them to drill the neck screw holes? And if so we’re...

Re: Project: Player Jaguar in mahogany

I ordered the neck from Musikraft, though since I delayed in ordering it, prices have gone up a bit. Came out a bit higher than I originally specc'd, which sucks, but it is what it is. What is the damage on a Musikraft neck these days? They have always been a premiumpricey choice but the quality of...

Re: New Behringer synths

They’ve now announced a proper Juno 6/60 clone. 8 voices. Familiar looks. Named the Neptune. I think the Jupiter clone is gonna be the Saturn or summit.

Re: How often do you change your strings?

I always clean my strings after playing so they do last a while. I tend to change mine when they start to flatten where they touch the frets.
