I've heard the quality dipped when they merged the VM and CV lines, but they look better all around. but I've also heard they're the best guitars you can buy without the fender decal at their price range. I always try to try before I buy. prolly just got a stinker tho, it happens, sucks to hear, I w...

god damn they're trying to clean me out, I didn't know I needed this. and I guess they merged the vintage modified and classic vibe lines last year, can't find VM jaguars and jazzmasters new anymore, only classic vibe, they pretty much look the same too. got them non-rosewood rosewood boards or some...

the Mascis is probably the safest bet for sure, but gotta throw in some love for the cheaper Vintage Modified jazzmaster. people have had stinkers but I love mine, only thing I think I upgraded was the bridge to a fender one that came with my other jazzmaster. seriously love that guitar, definitely ...

makes me wish I'd of bought all that trash up when it was cheap, though I'm sentimental about my stuff so I'd probably hoard it all anyway unless I really got a stinker. but still hurts seeing 70's fenders go for that much, I know there was good shit then but it just makes the 50's and 60's stuff go...

if a tube powered fender was around the same price as any peavey I'm going fender 100% of the time, no question. don't care how good it sounds, which is snobby as fuck but you like what you like. actually fuck, it just eluded me that there's a frank/dweezil Zappa peavey and those MASSIVE peavey bass...

Classic player Jag. The TOM bridge makes it way more reliable and the jag trem is still the best Fender offers, in my opinion. My custom has the same bridge/trem configuration and I can play a show of two or three 45 minute to one hour sets using the trem a lot and not need to tune it except to get...

the biggest difference between HRD amps is when they went from silver to black on the chassis, I think V3? They tightened up the bass response and fixed the dirty channel up, also made the EQ a little more sensitive. otherwise they're about the same. I have an old blues jr, played the black chassis ...

Love love love the CV series. My 50s Tele and 60s strat can take the Pepsi challenge with fenders. My friend has a CV 60s p bass that plays and feels as good as fenders. They out did themselves with that line. Perfection. I have a VM Jazzmaster, Jaguar, and my same friend has the bass VI. All lovely...

I hope the new generation appreciates all the god damned Squier offsets in perfect color combinations we all fought so hard for on the internet the past 15 years. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/b/b0/Raising_the_Flag_on_Iwo_Jima%2C_larger_-_edit1.jpg/1920px-Raising_the_Flag_on_I...
