Knife or scissors, cut a deeper slot with it and try to turn it.
A coin doesn't give you that grip or torque on it, something with a handle and sharp edge might.

http://i.imgur.com/LZHlvc2.png There is some discoloration where the logo could've been. Not sure, i managed to get them out but it sure wasn't a quick thing to do. The trem arm tip is also not pointed, exactly like the one i got recently. http://i.imgur.com/NlsvcMy.png Find the asking price a bit ...

http://i.imgur.com/OGTvHwd.png That is a pretty neck Trem arm looks a lot like the one i bought off aliexpress a while ago, not like the squier one. Bridge looks different too, no grooves but saddle height adjustments like the ones you find on chinese shops and amazon etc. but the bridge on the one...

Agree on the scratchplate, headstock on the current ones looks sweet though. Hmm the bigsby one.. Flip lefty, sell righty bigsby and fit lefty bigsby. Well it's not a bigsby but... Ehhh... I've been looking at bigsby B5 with the jazzmaster mounting plate.. Pricey business but I dig it... As they mak...

lefty jags are a must. I get it for the more 'obscure' guitars like the cyclone, toronado, cabronita, starcaster and bass VI etc but the jag, like the jazzmaster, is a fundamental.
Well the bass VI is a fundemental too, make a lefty !!!!

Wall hangers look so cool, like properly display your guitars, but i can't do that in my rental apartment, well i could but don't want to. :) Think I'll just look for a combination rack with room for a few acoustics and a few electrics like I have now but one extra space so it won't be super cramped...

Multistands for guitars with trem arms

I'm looking to replace my current 4 guitar stand (it's for 3 acoustics and 1 electric). As it's aimed at acoustics i have enough room for the trem arms to not be an issue. But i'm one space short. Ideally i'd have a 4 acoustic guitars and 1 electric kind of multistand..but i don't see those. I have ...

Yeah... I look at that ultimate octave and knowing that I sold the one I had and bought another one because selling it was a mistake... I'm not selling mine again.

Jazzmaster/jaguar tremolo

I hope none of you not in US are in need of an AVRI jazzmaster/jaguar tremolo.. Or a silly priced Japanese version... They have completely disappeared. The irony of not getting on with them years ago and now that I do they are gone. What's the deal? Fender will not make their panorama tremolo availa...

tried a number of options, think i'm pretty good where it is now until i become unhappy with it haha I tried to counter harshness by lowering the bridge pickup and raising the neck but went for something more subtle in the end, the neck being much closer was nice on its own but lacking in the middle...

I absolutely love the neck pickup in both lead and rythm, idd very detailed and full.
The bridge pickup i'll have to play with a bit to get it doing what i want, it's very twangy but a bit too sharp the way it sits now.

Indeed, you're easily looking at €150-€250 for a set so i was surprised to see the pricing on the ones i was interested in.
I don't care if they come with covers or in a fancy box, i only care about what i'm paying for the pickups themselves.

It was taking some time to get updates on shipping but they arrived faster than expected (was expected end of november !).

I'm curious about mustang pickups now too as i heard from someone who has those.

Prices are very fair for the specs.

Q pickups '58 spec Jazzmaster

Getting this thread started and updating as i get to a before and after demo of a squier classic vibe jazzmaster. Had been looking at fender pure vintage '65 jazzmaster pickups and then came across a good demo of the q pickups '58 spec jazzmaster ones and it made me smile how they sounded and the pr...
