People have made clones that are just the EQ section. Which is a fun way to use the HM2, send the Swedish chainsaw into your favourite gain/amp.
I'm surprised no one's made an HM-2/OD hybrid with that EQ curve but without the distortion.

That would have been a decent waza mod

Such a daft silly pedal
That high knob is a mids knob. It impacts something like 890 and 1100 with a really distinctive twin peak.

Does that Mooer Preamp capture the entire range of a specific preamp or does it just capture a snapshot of it based on how it's setup when it's captured?

Mooer do a range of amp sim pedals. I love my Mooer Radar, I believe the Mooer preamp pedals basically incorporate the same sort of cab sim. That said, I prefer to use the Radar after my PLX Spirytus to get that classic Ampeg VH-140C tone even through my TV speakers. The Radar works well because I ...

Cougars are cool and I'm a fan of anything vaguely Trans-Amish. HW has a flared Chevelle that I've got a handful of as well.

Luckily I've not gotten the diecast bug all that bad. I have a smattering of things that interest me. I'm pretty much 100% a 1:64 guy. I do like Tomica, but that started due to Initial D. I did manage to get a Hot Wheels Johnny Lightning Acura Integra Type R, which is the closest thing you can get ...

This isn't quite a copy in the traditional sense, but I still think it's worth mentioning. So, there's a few pedals that purport to clone the old Ampeg SS and VH series. There's the PLXfx Spirytus Distortion and the S&K VHD which are almost spot-on clones of that amp's channel A, there's also th...

That Moment Everything Sounds Perfect

So I sent off an email to Tim from Master Effects after buying his Martyr preamp. It arrived earlier but I didn't get a chance to try it out. I was a little worried because the footswitch didn't 'chunk' like I've gotten used to but as soon as I plugged it in I was sold. I've got an EQ out front as a...

Awesome. Ampeg makes some great guitar amps.
I was thinking for a second it was a VH-140C. I'd kill for one.
Repeatedly.

Also gave your myspace a listen, not my taste but sounds good, tone-wise, production-wise and material.
