Personally I'd go back to the black knobs I think, but just personal preference...I liked the gold just fine until I saw the all black pic. Did it come with that case? That's also pretty wild and just looks so special!

As someone trying to sell a 65 Mustang myself, you may have better luck unloading your trade and paying cash. Depending on the seller's tastes and reasons for selling, but personally trades are the last messages I'll reply to.

So as it turns out, the middle pickup was NOT dead, it was just a broken trace on the circuit board for the switches (interesting forum thread about the switches if anyone's curious: http://www.projectguitar.com/forums/topic/54984-hagstrom-corvette-condor-wiring/ ).

I feel that - that was basically the reason I traded the Fender XII, not that I didn't use it at all, but not enough to justify having such a nice one. At $315 this is really all I could want in a 12 string, besides maybe some less aggressive pickups.
