The one drawback of the ring thing is that it's limited to one harmony at a time, but apart from that there is so much craziness, great sounds and just damn cool in the pedal.

EHX ring thing will do it all and more, not sure on price but fairly sure £150 should be able to get you one.

I'm pretty Happy with my selection of dirt at the moment, covers most ground I need, Smallsound/Bigsound Year 4545 for crazy oscillation and feedback, Boss ODB3 for big fat grit, Tronographics Rusty box for tEH tonEZ and a Made by Mike Zvex Machine clone for huge disgustingly brilliant noise.

I got the pickups installed, had a couple of problems as the Schecter Duncan Designed pickups weren't the same size as the Entwistle Mini Humbuckers but managed to make them fit with a bit of work. All I can say is that they're fantastic, a huge improvement all over, great pickups and great prices. ...

Hey dave I'm going to be moving to Leeds in January (possibly earlier) so if this still hasn't got to me I'm going to have to change my address, but as I'm after Stuart it might be even easier if he is local to Leeds and can just hand it over rather than posting.

I think so, if only to try and get the best sound out of whichever guitar, some sound better doing one thing whilst other doing other things. Therefore your probably more likely to adopt a style to work with the advantages of the guitar.
