Damn, I've been out of the "new guitars"- game for quite some time but seriously thinking about getting one of these. Now maybe if I work some extra shifts, sell one of the guitars.. Has anyone gotten round to actually play one?

Kent Armstrong pickups?

Anyone here used them? I've been looking at the Toaster pickups (Ric-copy, possibly not in production anymore) and was wondering about the quality/cool sondz?

Some of them look for all intents and purposes completely unused? I mean sure, maybe it sat in a closet but a guitar from the 50's without some nephew taking it out and trying to get teh Samboraz on it?

AND WHY ARE THOSE LAST ONES THE WRONG WAY AROUND?? *jest*

Yeah, tone is all in the reverb handle. Naw, it's mojo. Tone is in the fingers. Lose your reverb handle and you will lose all your mojo, loose your fingers and you will lose all the tone. But an tone makes no sense without an mojo and vice versa. So keep dam both. WRONG. TONE & BL00z FLOW FROM ...

If I remember correctly, adjusting the height of the pickup might help with the muddiness.

Ah good, I knew I was bullshitting myself. I added the CuNiFe originally because it's only known because of Wideranges and because "you can't get that anymore". Dumbest reason I've heard was that it's because CuNiFe is somehow toxic or dangerous :D. I guess the original reason why I felt t...

Are ceramic pickups the work of the Devil?

I was looking for some sweet deals on the internet and came across someone selling Melody Maker pickups. He claimed that they were ceramic and instantly my buying boner died on me. That got me thinking, why is it so that "real" pickups have to be AlNiCo or CuNiFe (for weird types) all the ...

As a Behringer owner I can vouch for the Superfuzz. It's awesome, and it even doubles as a bass fuzz too.

(plus it's so cheap there's no point in me selling it, since i could make what, maybe 4€ out of it)

What are actually the benefits of having that extra coil on a pickup? If a humbucker cancels hum, does a triplebucker create extra to compensate it? Is it a singlecoil in a humbucker? Or does it cancel the sound all together?
