I made an EP and an LP!

I've spent the last two years working religiously on this album. Here are a few cuts from it along with bonus tracks. Enjoy! Full length will be out May 5th, 2010 (but you can get it mid-March from me on my website) http://www.prospectmusic.com/music/TALKep.zip http://www.prospectmusic.com/images/me...

I did a Leadbelly tribute

I've always been fascinated by Leadbelly (thanks to Kurt Cobain). In my opinion (and also of the opinion of many historians); Leadbelly was one of the most crucial bridges between slave/work music and what eventually became rock and roll. In my little tribute I used the original audio of "Pick ...

I haven't bumped to .13's for a while, but 12's w/ wound G is my current fave.

Hey man.

It sounds like you need more than just shielding.
However I actually have a spare CIJ shield plate that I don't need.

Cover shipping ($4?) and it's yours.

DGNR8- ordinarily i'd say keep your eyes peeled for a coronado XII neck but it seems like you have the chops to fix that one back up. i'm pretty sure someone on here has a XII (prospect, i think?)- maybe he'd be willing to help out with tracings. http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f370/prospect1/My%...

move springs down. then take cigar tube down as far as possible, but leave about 1 mm gap between string and bridge plate. tune it up, stretch the strings, wham the hell out of the reverb handle, repeat this 2 more times and youre done. I'm having a hell of a time setting up my CIJ Mustang trem. Wh...

I vote for returning to your initial idea; black!

I'm excited to see the finished product either way.
I like your ideas.

Play the hell out of it and let it get scratched up.

Then you can justify a sweet refin w/ matching headstock

My next project is to give my black XII a matching headstock.
I'm addicted to painted headstocks now.

@brianeharmonjr Awesome man! Are you going to refin it?

@taylornutt What James said. You could lightly sand down the clear coat and hopefully get to a point where the cracks weren't there. However you would risk sanding through into the color.

+1 on Novaks for the pickup quality and sound. My absolute favorite pickups on JMs and JG's. However he never replied to my emails. It could of been that it was landing in a spam filter, but doubtful because it's never happened to me any other time. I try to pick up Novaks secondhand even though the...
